Yarn Matters is a creation of two opposite minds that complimenting  each other - Marina and Kevin Hayes. Marina is the left brain creative side responsible for artistic side of the shop like colors, feels, style and content - customers already noticed how well Marina approaches color. Kevin is the right brain analytical side responsible for numbers and quantities - how many, how much, and when. Kevin loves his Square reports.

After our area lost it's local yarn shop, Marina and Kevin began investigating, researching, and carefully studying Local Yarn Shops throughout the country and even abroad. Learning from others' mistakes and success help their clear vision to take it's first steps.

Marina Hayes was born and raised in Russia. Knitting was a part of growing up in the 80's Soviet Union. Marina also knows how to crochet. Please, see Marina's 100+ projects in her Ravelry page.
